rachg82: (sears)
Today was all right. Kind of crazy, but could've been worse. I guess Rosa came back. Shelley called her, and found out she had issues with her schedule, and they worked something out. So, that's good. Frowney Face wasn't as frowney, either. I had the feeling she'd warm up after a while. I've had friends like her before; I know the type. Some people just aren't very smiley, but they'll start talking to you more, and joking with you, once they get to know you. I could rant a bit about some other stuff, that Shelley brought up, and Peppy did, but meh. I don't really feel like it. Same ole, same ole. Management without common sense, basically. Pretty much sums it up, right there.

I saw three people from my High School today, yo. One walked by me in the mall and did a double take. We made eye contact, and did that little "Hey!" expression. Then, at work, I saw this girl Bonnie, who I went to school with too, and this other girl, whose name I can't remember now. And, just yesterday, I saw one of my old teachers at the mall too. I felt too shy to walk up and say hi, though. Plus, I was on my way to work, and didn't want to be late. Weird, though. Bonnie and the other girl didn't seem to recognize me, when I first said hi. It took them a sec, then it dawned on them. I knew Bonnie fairly well, as an acquaintance, so it must've been that I look different than when she saw me last. Makes sense. She was a year ahead of me. So it's been like three years, and I wear my hair differently now. The other girl, who did recognize me, was in my grade. She was around me more, too. Man, talk about a trip down memory lane. It always leaves me feeling off, when I run into people I used to know. Especially when they're all with friends and shit. Or, like tonight, with a friend who also went to the school. I think to myself "Oh, that's nice that they're still friends." followed a second later by "Why do others keep friends, and I don't?" Guess that's just the way it goes.

Random other stuff:

-Shaundra told me my shirt was cute tonight, and was all wanting to know where I got it. She always has the cutest things on. Like, always in style and everything. So, I took that as a compliment.

-I got shocked by static electricity all day, man. Every second. I was starting to get scared to touch anything. Electrocution wasn't really on my list of things to do today, you know. Heh. That would be such a lame ass way to die. Can you imagine the headlines? "Static electricity at Sears. Could you be next?" Dum dum DUM!

-I flove Photoshop. I've been working on that cartoon for you this week, dosi. It's good times.
