We're supposed to get snow and the start of a long cold period by the end of this week too, but I'm less excited than you are! I haven't recovered from the trauma of last winter... snow's supposed to be really rare here, so we're not adapted to it. My shoes sure as hell aren't, can't even recount the number of times I fell.
