I went to PCC yesterday to see an academic advisor, so of course my luck determined that their office would be closed.

At least you were able to see the financial aid people. I'm excited about you going back to study, I really hope it will help.

but when I see her next I think I need to talk through some anxiety stuff that's been peeking back out surrounding school.

I think that's a really good idea. You are worthy of going back to study, and I hope it will be really beneficial to you.

It's just something I'll have to be aware of & work on while I also continue to make sure I check in with myself about how realistic (or not) my expectations are, re: what I can handle at any given time.

I think it's really good you're aware of it, and hopefully you can spot any unrealistic expectations and judgments before they get out of control.

Still, unsettled & shaky feeling or not, I have been doing things I needed up there when I've gone, I have talked to people, and I feel pretty good about that.

That's really good. You should be proud of yourself.
