Random post of random
Because I'm feeling listy & random today, I hereby present the following five factoids about my day:
1. It is so cold here right now I think I just saw a penguin ice-skate through my living room. That's probably not a good sign.
2. I just rewatched "Man in the Bear" and am now remembering why that's one of my favorite Bones episodes ever. And also why I might even have to go out on a crazy limb & declare season one my favorite in general. Yeah, I said it. Season two had a mess of fantastic episodes & great shippy moments, no doubt, but there's just something about season one that I completely adore. Especially when it involves Booth & Brennan going on field trips & hitting cannibals with bed-pans.
3. I found out today that my contract at work has been extended another six months (it'll now end in July instead of January). I was pretty confident it would happen, but it's still really nice to have it confirmed now so it won't be hanging over my head for the next month and a half.
4. My mom just called me to ask what's on tv. I asked her why she doesn't just turn on the TV Guide channel and she said, "You're better." Heh.
5. For those who haven't seen it yet, get thee to the following promo clip for Bones' Christmas episode tomorrow night:
One question for you all: WHERE IS THURSDAY & WHY IS IT NOT HERE YET? Seriously, I may have actually died of the flail for a second there, not gonna lie.
And that's pretty much it. Now I have to go and try to squeeze in a viewing of So You Think You Can Dance tonight before I get to bed so I can see who's through to the finale. (Which, speaking of: What kind of nonsense is this that there's going to be a top 6 this year instead of a top 4? My whole world is askew, I tells ya.)

Also, I agree about the side-part. Hee. And Brennan's outfits were fantastic back then as well! It's like she hadn't learned how to dress like a fancy, famous author yet & was always pairing funky boots with skirts & massively cleavage-y shirts & what-not. Good times, good times.
