The side effects, for me, for missing just one day, are negligable. I think you'll be fine for work, definitely. I experienced slight (very slight) nausea and a headache. But the headache, I guess, could have been related to something else. Either way, if you only miss one day it isnt that bad. I would really recommend getting your pills tomorrow, though, because if you miss more than a day or two, the coming down is TERRIBLE. I am not joking there.
What time do you take your pill normally? Because maybe you could take it a few hours earlier, just to make sure it's in your system for work later.
I started my effexor, 2 weeks ago, at a high dose, but alternating every other day between a lower dose. Now its been 2 weeks and I am up to my 150, where my doctor wanted me to be. I probably rushed it, but I'd rather have bad side effects for 2 weeks, then constantly getting side effects a little worse each time just as soon as I begin to feel better.
Anyway, my appetite hasnt returned yet, but my nausea is gone. My sleeping pattern is still wack. I talked to the health center today about the bleeding, and the doctor really thought it was just because of the stress of losing so much weight so quickly, that I ovulated or something like that. She didnt seem that concerned, but did a pregnancy test. She really expects that to be negative, though. I'll find out the results of that tomorrow.
Anyway, I'll probably make a post of this tomorrow, after I find out the results. I am not at all worried about the pregnancy test, which is good. What I am worried about, though, is when my next period will come (in a week, like planned, or in another 3 weeks because I just had one). The doctor said it could be either. Arg. That situation will definitely be disturbing.
Umm. So. In summary, missing one dose isnt that big of a deal, in my experience.
