Feb. 4th, 2003 12:26 amMy sister wants me to go with her to have the alterations on her dress double-checked (since she's pregnant, and they were done a while back, they decided she should come in again now, and make sure it doesn't need to be let out any for the wedding. You know, due to baby-growage. And, yes, growage is a word. Hee. Because I say so.), tomorrow. In the morning. Ugh. She's all "I need your opinion." For possibly letting the dress out a quarter of an inch in the bust? You've got to be kidding me. She can't make that life-threatening decision herself? Now Mom's going too, but I still have to go.
Heh, I like how put out I act over getting up and going somewhere before noon. I'm like "but I have to work later! Well, yeah, it's not until four, but still! Geez!" Heh, reminds me of Jim Gaffigan (comedian). "I need to go to the post office. But I'd probably have to put on pants for that. And they're only open till five. Better do that next week, when I have a little more free time." Haha. I love him so much.
I admit, part of it is because I've been going all these places for her, lately, but she hasn't gone one place for me. If she does, she sighs the whole time, and always acts like she has soooo many things to do. Remember the Sigh Olympics when I needed to find a dress for her wedding? That took all of thirty minutes. Meanwhile I get dragged all over the place for her. Hmph. I asked her to go shopping with me, five hundred years ago. Has it happenned? Noooo. Gets on my nerves too, how if I ever do see her, she rushes. "I can only stay a bit. I have to be home at four. Why? Well, I have plans!" Then I'll find out later that she didn't even go anywhere. Happens ALL THE TIME. She can't ever just sit her little ass down, and chill. Drives me crazy, because she's really not that busy! She's just like our Grandma. Both of them have this "oh, can't stay, can't stay, places to go, people to see. I'm late, I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!" thing going on with them. Heh, now I'm going to start picturing Corinne as the White Rabbit. Pretty appropriate, considering Nanny has been Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh for many years, now.
Okay, rant over. Here's the picture for February 4th. This lady repeats stuff, sometimes. It's a slightly different photo than the last, but basically the same. And the caption has a different sentence added on to the same first one. Heh. Oh, well.
