I do actually think it's better he was able to react in a non-OH NOES-esque fashion to the "Would you sleep with me?"; it shows he's more secure now.
That was exactly my thought too. Booth knows she's waiting for him to be ready and, judging by her reaction, she knows he knows it. Totally new vibe between the two of them. I like it, though God knows I also loves me some jealous!Booth.
