I know a lot of people feel that way, but it still makes me scratch my head. Heh. I've been on LJ since its main function *was* for people to talk about their real lives (a lot of my old friends on here still use it pretty much exclusively for that. My BFF recently was like, "I don't know what to post about," and I suggested TV, & she was all ~whaaaaa~? As if it'd be a new paradigm for her or something, haha). Of course back then it was also invite-only, but it's still a trip to me that it's turned into such a fangirl-centric place where so many don't talk about personal stuff at all (or actually apologize when they do). It's so weeeeird.
