8 calls an hour is about the same average that was expected at Xerox, and my previous call center expected more; I just hate how those types of things are often handled is all. Like, you can be doing this amazing job, but one customer calls in with fifty questions & leaves you doing seven calls that day, and your manager inevitably is all, "Yeahhh, um, so we actually want eight calls per day, mmmkay? Which you know, but I'm here to remind you of unnecessarily. Also, have those TPS reports to me on Saturdayyy.[/Office Space moment]"

It's a cell phone company. A friend of mine works there & says they deal with a lot of elderly customers, which should be interesting. Ha. "I CAN'T SEE THE BUTTONS, DEARIE."
