rachg82I apologize for the spam, but my head is throbby (I think I'm getting a cold, which doesn't help) & I'm being too stubborn to simply go to bed. The result? Me, in front of my computer, consuming mass quantities of YouTube videos. In my defense, this is also my way of avoiding my last few hours of Christmas being spent in bed, staring wide-eyed awake up at the ceiling getting all buddy-buddy with my ~feelings & thoughts~. No thanks. The migraine is enough fun. After this I'll probably drag myself over to the couch & watch some tv though, but no promises.
Anyhoo, I had a point. What was it?
Oh, yes. Spam.
If it weren't for the migraine, something like tv or even some good ole stand-up clips would've sufficed, but seeing as I can't stand anything that makes me laugh or strain my eyes too hard right now, that leaves only a few options remaining: fanfic (until I need to lie down), chill fanvids (which I can sit close to & put at a low volume), & music.
As luck would have it, I not only came across a good new Brennan fanvid tonight, but was also introduced to some new music today as well.
First up, the Brennan fanvid. This is by aPASSINGthought and is centered around "The Doctor in the Photo." Automatically, that means you know I'll probably like it. Heh. *squishes her forever*
Next, mas musica. Yes, I know I probably already OD'd you guys with the soundtrack. I'm just a leeeeettle obsessed. I'm sorry.Not really.
My cousin's girlfriend was playing this band in the car today, and I was like, "aleihlaihggh WHO IS THIS THEY ARE SICK." Loves me some trip-hop, baby. (P.S. for those of you who like this band, I'd also recommend Daughter Darling. This song especially. But also this one, particularly because it was on Bones. Heh. P.P.S. Also? I'm not sure what genre they'd be stuck in, but I'd definitely recommend The Jealous Girlfriends too. clicky)
I already knew Emilie Autumn before today (because of this song<---trigger warning for this one before you click), but I hadn't heard anything else by her otherwise. Not sure if I'll become a fan yet--some of her stuff so far I've liked, such as the above two songs for instance, while some of it hasn't caught my attention--but it's always fun having a reason to listen to something new.
I found this randomly tonight & was just like, "haha, YES. FOR THE WIN." Haters gon' hate! (Ahh, hip hop, I just love you so much.)

a2zmom a while back. Some of you may have heard of the Girl Talk remixes already, I'm not sure. If not, you'll get the gist of them pretty fast once you watch.
I totes recommend watching the other Girl Talk remixes as well, by the way, if you have the chance. And since I'm uber nice like that, I'll even include one morebecause I like it & have no shame.
