I always feel the same about writing Cam, btw. She's one of the most fun of all of them to write but for some reason nervewracking too!
You know what I think it is? It's an issue you have to be careful with--she's a minority actress who gets less screentime than her counterparts (Michaela's a minority too, but, let's face it--being African American is more difficult in Hollywood than being half white/half Asian). That's a blunt way to put it, but it's true. Less screentime = less material to base your characterization/writing upon. You don't want to make her two-dimensional or some kind of Mary Sue sidekick, dropping in to give pithy advice or one-liners & that's it. I was very concerned about making her come across that way, and I really hope I didn't. I truly love Cam's character & see her as a complete person.
LOVE the quotes. I always wish I could remember stuff like that / remember to gather them together somewhere when I read them!
