Oh, heh, it was Danny & Martin on Without a Trace. Enrique Murciano (who played Danny, see icon) really wanted to take it to a place where they were having a romantic relationship and approached the producers about it, but Eric Close (who played Martin) said no way when they talked to him about it. The relationship stuff was such a minor part of that show, it would have been crumbs if anything I'm sure, but it would have been extremely progressive for a procedural.
