So, today was pretty lazy and boring. A bit moody and bitchy, too, due to the whole surfing of the crimson wave and all. Yeah, fun.

At least I got my taxes mailed out. Whew.

[livejournal.com profile] willothewisps, did you see South Park tonight? That was supposed to be a new episode, right? Because Kenny was there, so I was kind of confuzzled. Did they bring him back? Or what?

While I was at that other name site, which I gave a link for to tink earlier (because the first one asked for money, after the first couple free trials), I found another definition of the name Rachael, which was kind of freakily accurate.

"Your first name of Rachael has made you happiest when you are expressing in some creative, artistic way, and not conforming to strict routine. In a large group of comparative strangers, you are quiet and rather shy, unable to express yourself, not really wanting to become involved in conversation. On the other hand, among friends with whom you feel at ease, you are expressive, witty, and quite charming. These contrasting natures make it difficult for people to understand you and can lead to friction in your personal life. You are deep, philosophical, and refined, but your extremely sensitive nature causes you to become depressed and self-pitying over any real or imagined slight. If you are not careful, people take advantage of your generous nature. You find the beauties of nature, fine music, art, and literature--all the deeper things of life--inspiring. The reserved, sensitive side of your nature brings aloneness and friction into your life, although you crave affection and understanding. You must guard against emotional excesses, which could result in depletion of energy, creating a desire for quick-energy foods. You could suffer through skin irritations, blood conditions, back trouble, and later, through arthritis. Heart, lung, or bronchial weaknesses could also result"

Um, right, that's weird. Because what they say is largely true.

For you Rach(a)els who insist on spelling it with no second "a" (tsk tsk. Hee), like [livejournal.com profile] raq and [livejournal.com profile] eternaltimtams, here's the definition they give in your case:

"As Rachel you are rather serious-minded, responsible, and stable. You have the gift of tact and diplomacy, and possess a charming, easy-going nature which endears you to others. You have a serious desire to understand the heart and mind of everyone, and could be very effective in a career or in volunteer work where you are handling people and serving in a humanitarian way. This name also gives you a love of home and family, and as a parent you would likely be fair and understanding. You remember the thoughtful little expressions of affection and appreciation that mean so much to others, and you have the ability to create a warm and loving environment. However, you tend to put things off and avoid facing issues because of a lack of confidence and uncertainty. You often need encouragement from someone before you can come to a decision. This name creates a generally well-balanced and healthy nature, but any weakness in the health would cause problems in the fluid functions, such as kidney or bladder trouble, overweight, or swelling of the legs and ankles."

I relate to some of the things mentioned there too, actually.

On a random note, I'm really in the mood for cookies, right now. Like, REALLY.

Oh, dude, you know what I just realized? Having class on Thursday evenings means I'll miss the shows I like. Hmph. Meh, I suppose I could always tape stuff, if I really wanted. I probably won't, though. I haven't actually been paying as much attention to those shows lately, anyway. I don't know why. I guess it just seems like it's always a rerun, whenever I watch. Or I watch while doing other things, so I'm distracted and don't really know what's going on.

I thought I had something else to add, but I can't think of it now. Hmm. Oh well, if I think of it later, I'll just go back and edit.

Before I go, though, [livejournal.com profile] nehallania, are you all right? If you're reading this, can you comment, and let me know? I'm fussing.

I'm still concerned about loftyexpert, too. Bookworm, if you're reading this, ditto for the request for a comment.

Hugs to everyone else, too, while I'm at it. I think of you guys, off and on through my day, and want to ask about how certain things are going, but don't talk on IM with all of you that often. And emailing can be kind of awkward, if not done regularly. So, I figure why not just post some of my questions here.

[livejournal.com profile] goodfish and [livejournal.com profile] sonneta, did you guys ever come to decisions about your housing situations, next year? I can't remember now if you said you decided yet, sonneta.

And a second question for miss sonneta: How's the anxiety going, now? Like, when you go to lunch, and varsity and stuff?

[livejournal.com profile] willothewisps, how's the new job going, my darling partner in cute crime? (this is the part where I stalk you over updating your LJ more)

Heh, I won't be satisfied till I have everyone updating at least once a day, filling me in regularly on every aspect of their lives. Hey, at least y'all know I care, right? Heh, you're like "No. Bug off."

And dude! [livejournal.com profile] highhorse, where do you think you've been, missy? I miss ya! How's the job, and living at home again, and all that jazz? Did you ever talk things over with your sister?

And now, the Picture of the Day: April 3rd.

did you guys ever come to decisions about your housing situations, next year? Yeah, I finally ended up going with Kress (Substance-free single), as I know a ton of people who are living there. I'm actually picking my room tonight.

How's the anxiety going, now? Like, when you go to lunch, and varsity and stuff?
Haven't had problems in a long time, actually. Praise God. And I'm pretty sure you meant InterVarsity (which has nothing to do with sports- "Varsity" is an old-fashioned way of saying College). That's been okay, as I've found a group of people I can hang with there.

I really hope that link works...

That's cool. No questions for me. You don't think about me on and off during the day. I understand.

Heh, you suck. I do too think of you! In fact, I almost asked if your sucky week at work ended up being better, but then I realized that's something you'd probably talk about in your LJ, without me asking.

Right. Just pull some random fact out of your head and ask me about it, that's convincing.

South Park is in the middle of 7 new eps. Kenny is back, he just came back at the end of last season as if he was never away. And apparently he's not killed anyone, which is good since that got tired in the middle of the first season.

Aardsy already answered you, but I missed South Park! I was doing my horrid homework.

Work is ok. I've been doing better in tips because I am such a damn fine waitress. :) And thanks for the name link! I'll post the results so you can't say I never update.
