What day are you?
Pfft. Figures. Heh.
Man, I am so behind on my friends list. I did see though that

Heeeee. I'm so evil.
I talked to mi hermana (seƱora con la cabasa chiquita) today. (Hee.) She had to get a new uniform at work (or "costume", as she calls it, heh), because she was getting too big for the other one. Aww. She thought of a new name, too, and Lance likes it also. Mom didn't at first, but then changed her mind, once she heard what it meant. I like it too. Jaden. They have it spelled other ways, too. It means "God has heard." Or, specifically, "Jehovah has heard", in Corinne's book. Same difference. From the Bible. I like it. Jaden John. Sounds nice.
Picture of the Day: April 12th.
Oh, and pssst, tink: Sneak Cute!Attack! Muahaha.
Some of those pictures. . .oh, my God. Seriously, I can't take it. I'm going to be the first person to ever actually explode from viewing excessive cuteness. What's that you say? Impossible? Care to bet?
Dude, I have to go like kill myself, those pictures are so cute. Haha. Too. Many. Cuddly. Babies. Can't. Carry. On. . .*collapses*
Although, that last picture kind of reminds me of the whole William debacle, on the X Files, because of the bunny hat. Oh, man, the bunny hat. *sobs* Fucking Chris Carter. *shaking fist* What do you have against bunny hats, huh, Chris? Oh, what's that? You hate happy characters? And you just enjoy bashing my soul against sharp rocks? Right, I forgot. Ohhhh, the bitterness. Heh. Seriously, though, that fucking bunny hat like stabbed me in the heart, it was so adorable. Jeremiah was a bullfrog, indeed. Damn adoption plotline! Excuse me, I need to just go rock back and forth, and weep softly for a while.
Don't mind me. I'm just a little verklempt. Here, talk amongst yourselves. Rhode Island is neither a road, nor an island. Discuss.
Ah, but Saturday Night Live came to rescue me from my temporary angst. Good God, Celebrity Jeopardy cracks me up like nothing else. Seriously, I was like dying a second ago, watching it. Heh. "Oh, rough, eh? Just the way your Mother likes it, Trebek." Hahaha. The parts I love the most, though, are the final jeopardy wagers.
Trebek: "All right, Stewart, let's see what you put down. The answer was a number. Any number. Any number at all. And you put down. . .threeaeve. Great. A combination of three, and five. And you wagered? Texas. Wonderful."
Hahahaha. Texas. I love it. I know I say it all the time, but dude. I so miss these guys, on this show. It has a funny moment every now and then, this season, but it very rarely makes me really laugh like it did for a while, when Will and Cheri and Molly and Ana Gasteyer and them were all on it. That's the hard part about liking this show; it goes through cycles. Like, in the early nineties, it sucked total shit. I mean, there were a few really talented people on it, and they kept it alive (like Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, and Adam Sandler. They each had some characters who still crack me up. Like Farley's Motivational Speaker character, for instance), but otherwise, the writing in general back then was pretty poor. Then, for a couple seasons, it started being really funny again. Now, it seems to be struggling again. Not nearly as bad as it was a decade ago, in my opinion, but just really not like The Spartan Spirit days, if you will. Of course, the show had lame sketches, during that period, but the funny ones made up for it.
Speaking of stuff that makes me laugh, they showed Reggie McFadden (stand-up) tonight. I love how I'll still watch these people if they come on TV, even if I've seen the special a bunch of times before, and have it recorded. And I still laugh. Heh. At least with the good ones, anyway. I love Reggie McFadden. He doesn't make me laugh maybe quite so breathlessly as some other comics, but I still think he's hilarious. I love the bit about the pillow fights, and COPS (the show, not actual policemen. Heh).
I also like how I ramble about these things to you guys, when I know none of you even care. Heh. Well, wait, that's not totally true. I know at least

I kind of miss having friends around who like these same things too, sometimes. Because I used to have friends who liked watching all of it, and talking about it, too. So I could call a friend up, and be like "I'll take The Rapists for 500, Alex" when they say Hello, and they'd know what I'm talking about. Heh. But oh well.
(we'll stop going down that route, now, before loneliness hits)
Eh, I think I'm all out of rambling now, anyway. Heh.

Date: 2003-04-12 06:28 am (UTC)Get the Anne Geddes away from me! NOW! God, I remember when her pics were The Big Thing. There was no escape. It was terrifying.
Damnit, that song always reminds me of the X-Files. Hee. And how decidedly NON-'shippy that scene was. *innocent*

Date: 2003-04-12 01:26 pm (UTC)There was an old Kiefer rerun on today. That was in 92, I think, and the cast was also good then -- Phil Hartman (*sob*), Dana Carvey (when he was good), Julia whatshername, Kevin Nealon (who everyone hates but I have an irrational love for). Is it just me, or has the cue card reading gone up sharply in the past few years? By hosts and cast alike.
Um, so yeah. See, this is why I don't comment more on your posts. I go off onto stupid tangents.
Oh -- one more thing. I am indifferent to Anne Geddes, but I have to wonder -- why on earth do people think she's the devil? Because she dresses babies up and photographs them? Exactly how is this different from any parent on Halloween? Or, say, a Tuesday?

My office is all Anne Geddes. Can you tell I want a beebee?
