Excuse me while I ramble about Bones for a minute, will you?:

I've never been more glad to be staying away from major spoilers than I am right now, based on the level of ZOMG!-ness that I seem to be sensing in the fandom at the moment. Then again, Bones fans tend to be just a little dramatic. Hee. (said with love! But SERIOUSLY) So if any of you know the details of whatever it is David Boreanaz said in that article that's floating around, do not even *think* of spilling the beans to me (even to tell me whether the fan response is more positive or negative, because I don't even really know that. I just know there's some huge reactions going on & people are basically like hyperventilating in both directions, heh) or I will stab you in the neck, Kara Thrace-style.

However, that being said, I am crazy-excited for the 100th episode based on the spoiler-free review I read from one blogger who'd seen it already and who said that watching it felt like "opening up your Christmas presents" as a kid (it was a really glowing review, for real. So if it ends up just being mediocre or even bad, I'm going to be frakking pissed. Haha). So whatever it is that DB said that seems to have everyone flipping out, I don't even want to know. Because in my experience whatever the cast of that show says--whether it's positive *or* negative--it usually just gets the fans riled up for nothing and ends up disappointing people in the end. So I'll stick with staying mostly in the dark except for mild spoilers like peeks at episode stills & such, and I think I'll be a happier & less stressed fan for it. No failnale for me this year, yo! You're not gonna trick me two years in a row, Hart!

Speaking of episode stills though, remember the episode I mentioned that'll be coming up in two weeks, directly after the 100th? And what I predicted would (and wanted to see) happen? Yeah, well, a few episode stills for that episode came out today and I can't resist sharing two of them now so I can show off my mad psychic skillz. And of course to flail, because AHHHHH. YES. Heh.

SO LISTEN UP & LISTEN UP GOOD: YOU TRY TO BAIT-AND-SWITCH ME AT THE LAST MINUTE WITH ANOTHER "GUY-HUG" UNDER THAT MIRROR-BALL & YOU WILL BE GETTIN' ABSOLUTELY NO SWEET KISSY-ACTION FROM THIS HERE FINE PIECE OF ASS. BUT IF YOU GIVE ME THE CHEESY ADORABLE SLOW DANCING I ASKED FOR, *ESPECIALLY* IF BRENNAN MAKES THAT SWEET MELANCHOLY EXPRESSION THAT SHE'S GOT IN THAT PICTURE, THEN WE WILL NOT ONLY HAVE OUR KISSYTIMES BUT WE CAN ALSO HOLD HANDS & SKIP THROUGH FIELDS OF HAPPY DAISIES AFTERWARD. UNLESS OF COURSE YOU SHOW THEM HAVING KISSED ALREADY WHEN THEY FIRST MET IN THE 100TH EPISODE OR SOME OTHER JACKED-UP SHIT, BECAUSE THEN I WILL CUT YOUR FUCKIN' ASS WITHOUT MERCY, TRUST. (seriously, 100th ep promos, you are scaring me to death with your almost-kisses. I am absolutely cool with the idea that they *almost* kissed back then, because really, they came about *thisclose* to straight-up making out in the pilot, let's be real--hello, SHOOTING RANGE SCENE, MUCH?--but I don't buy them actually kissing back then at all. I think they came close & never did it. It's way too retconny to change that now. SO DON'T GO THERE HART. DON'T EVEN. OR I WILL HURT YOU.)

Okay, I'm done with the capslock now. Ha. I'm just a bit excited about this show returning to my tv at the moment, okay? Hey, I warned you things were gonna get flaily 'round here so don't act like you're surprised.

For the record though, as much as I'm excited for Bones to be returning in general, I'm not all that revved up for tomorrow night's episode by itself really. It doesn't sound like it's anything all that amazing, certainly not compared to the 100th episode next week at least, or the fanfic-y fun coming up the week after. But still, I'm totally happy to have my little show back overall. It's not a perfect show anymore, and I'm the first to admit it was at its absolute best in its first two seasons, but I still love it, it entertains the hell out of me, and I miss my B/B & squints, man. After two months with it being gone, I'm more than ready to see it come back. Afterall, it's been way too long since I've been able to debate ED's fake non-existent pregnancy with

keenai or perv out over Brennan's cleavage or flail over Bones & Booth or laugh at Cam. So yes, WELCOME BACK, SHOW. (Still, to those of you on my flist who are in that "I'm excited but scared at the same time" place with the show in regards to where the season is going? I totally feel you. I'm kinda right there with you guys, honestly. But something about the 5th season has just made me lighten up about the show so much more, I don't know (except when I'm threatening Hart Hanson like I did above, haha. But I'm mostly pretty chill about it lately!). I just want to see where it goes & hope for the best. I guess we'll just have to wait & see, right?)

. . .Except I didn't really have much else to write about tonight. Heh. I did want to say though that at least my head didn't hurt as bad today as it did the rest of the week! So that's great. Of course that's totally relative, because it still hurts some, it's just that it wasn't as bad all day as it had been yesterday or Monday. But hey, every bit of improvement counts. My eyes are still super sensitive & hurt-y though. But I'm hoping that goes away with the migraine, and considering the migraine is still lingering there's a good chance it will. I just hope it's not some weird side effect from the Topamax though, because I asked my coworker who's taking it if she'd had any weird eye-stuff and she was like, "everything's bright! Also, I'm tingly now like you. Thanks for jinxing me." and I was like, "crap." Heh. We're totally bonding over our side effects though, ha. WEIRDEST DRUG EVER. But even if it is a side effect it still might go away anyway, because side effects can fade too. Which brings me to a question I have:

juliedarling, if you're reading this, can you let me know if you've experienced any eye-related side effects while taking it, and whether any of the side effects you have experienced in general have diminished over time?

(as a totally random aside, and I do mean random: The song on my playlist just changed from "Family Affair" to "No More Drama" as I was writing this, and I'd just like to take a moment to point out how perfectly this song speaks to my life at this point in time. SING IT FOR ME, MARY.)

Anyway, now that I'm done rambling about Bones & random health stuff that probably only 2% of my flist gives a crap about, I'm gonna wrap this up with a Vid of the Day. I'm in the mood for a cracky vid and I honestly can't believe I haven't rec'd this vid here yet before (seriously, WTF) because it's full of win, especially when you consider that most of it is shot-for-shot perfectly edited to match the original music vid. Frakkin' brilliant. Plus, c'mon, even aside from that, it's the Beastie Boys. And BSG. Together. What more could you ask for? So yes, watch it immediately & then go show some love to its creator
