I totally called that she was going to be pregnant too. I just knew it. Everything was pointing to it, even way back before they slept together. They kept calling her Mama Bones and then they spend the night together, and every chance they had they would throw in a line or two about babies and it was just too obvious. I really wanted them to write it in, but I wasn't sure they would, but I kept saying that she was pregnant and I was so right. I'm really glad they wrote it in, and I can't wait to see all the challenges that this will bring them. It will certainly not be easy.

After reading SN's interview I'm even more excited than I was before. I can't wait for season 7 to start. This is going to be so freaking awesome.

Also, I hope you feel better! *hugs*

SN's interview simultaneously comforted me & made me more nervous! The part about them not "having to" hug & kiss, you know? I was all, "UM, THEY HAD BETTER HUG & KISS." Ha. I won't even front--I want to see these two smooching & doing the nekkid pretzel, dag nabbit. I mean, yes, a relationship is about more than that, but it's still important! I just really hope they balance the baby stuff with both of them still being, A. individuals (i.e. there's more to them than parenthood or even their relationship), and B. two people who've been in love forever but are just now finally getting to act on it (thus, passion. Not just a chaste kiss as they pass the baby back & forth while kickin' it in their sweats. Feel me?).

But I won't lie, I AM excited. MAMA BONES! Dancing phalanges!

Also, I hope you feel better!

I think it's just the start of a cold/mild flu. My ears hurt and I've got that achy-head-I-just-want-to-go-lie-down feeling. Wah.

I'm sorry for taking so long to respond. It has been a busy day. haha!

I think the part of the them not having to kiss and hug, I think he meant that they won't be kissing and hugging through the whole episode you know. I think we will see it, but it wasn't be exaggerated. At least that's what I got from it. They can't be a couple and NOT hug, kiss, touch.

Mama Bones. Seriously. She's going to be such a good mommy! Awwww!

I guess I'm just a little worried about them going from almost-lovers to ~super!domestic!~ partners overnight, skipping the part where it wouldn't be exaggerated for them to be a little extra demonstrative. I mean, remember when Angela & Hodgins first got together? The Egyptian exhibit? Constant nooky? The show treated them very differently this season, with the introduction of Angela's pregnancy. I know I'll like seeing Booth & Brennan as a couple no matter what, so don't get me wrong (and one of my fave shows is Parenthood, so it's not like I don't enjoy couples on TV with kids. Julia & Joel on that show are wonderful), but I also know I'll probably be a little sad if we skip their carefree Egyptian Exhibit Phase altogether. Know what I mean?

But they haven't even written it yet, so there's still time for them to decide to throw us a bone with a make-out session or two before they're tired & covered in spit-up. Ha.

Eh, I'm not as OTT barfy as I was this morning, but I still feel icky. It's okay though. I'm gonna try to drag myself up to the store & see if there's a good deal on Friday Night Lights DVDs. If there is, I can spend the evening curled up on my couch with season 1. I'm not mad at that!

Second of all OMG we so totally agree about everything to do with this ep. I mean really we are brain twins - right down to the X Files scars and out there worrying about farmers adopting babies. LOL. Well ya know.

Ha, I remember the first time I met dosidella (who's from Pittsburgh); she told me I had an accent too & I was like, "Bitch, is you crazy?" But a lot of people have told me I do, so apparently not! For some reason quite a few have asked me if I'm from North Carolina. WTFWTF. Wrong coast!

XF frakkin' TRAUMATIZED me, yo! Haha. Seriously. And Bones has followed in its footsteps in so many ways, which I generally don't mind, because--y'know, it's my Fanfic Show--but it still makes me wary! As it stands, I'm gonna definitely be working on an update to my 51 Things (http://rachg82.livejournal.com/238740.html) picspam, based on the last couple eps.

I am the wrong person to judge - to me most American accents sound the same besides the southern accent - and I'm sure there's many variations on that too.

Here we are a tiny nation and yet many regional variations.

OMG XF totally traumatised me. If I'd not lived through that I'd surely be finding this easier LOLOL!

Let's see, you've got the North Dakota/Minnesota accent (think "Fargo"), you've got the twangy redneck Texan accent, you've got the damn near indecipherable Cajun-influenced Louisiana accent, you've got other parts of the deep south (e.g. Alabama), then you've got the upper south (that's where you'd find North Carolina), then there's New Jersey (Joisey! Heh), then New York, then New England (which also has some differences--Boston is unique from Maine, for instance), Baltimore, Native American accents, various hispanic Americans, and so on. You get the idea. I used to work for a call center, so I'd hear firsthand the differences between the dialects & lingo. I never thought growing up that the west had an accent, but I suppose everyone does, technically. I mean, to a New Yorker, I'd sound funny. *ETA: To be fair, too, I had an articulation disorder when I was a kid (years & years of speech therapy, woo), so that might've affected how I sound too, even now. Perhaps that's the real reason I get the WTF-North Carolina questions.

I think the different lingo is my favorite thing to pay attention to. I remember the people in Baltimore would call in to report their phone lost/stolen, and I'd ask how long it had been gone & they'd respond, "It's been a minute." And I'd be like, "Ummm, so it just got lost?" and they'd be all, "No! Three weeks ago." For some reason, southern Californians say that a lot too, I've noticed.

Anyway, that stuff cracks me up. Don't mind my rambling. Heh.

I rewatched the ep last night, and I do admit my ovaries took over a bit. She's gonna have a babyyyyyy.

I'm on the fence about it, honestly. I just feel sort of meh. I'm excited to a degree, and there were things about the finale which I liked, but I'm not nearly as happy (or unhappy) as a lot of people. "Meh" is really the word for it.
