Bloody Hell. Literally. Heh. Yeah, I started my period tonight. I had the feeling I would though, so I was prepared for once. Haha, take that trolls! Didn't get to stain my underwear this time!
I haaaaaaaaaate periods. I really wish I didn't have it now. Because I'm working the next five days, then have one day off, and work three days after that. So, if I get bad migraines or cramps or what have you, it won't be pleasant. I hate working when I'm sick. Fucking point system. God bless pain killers, though. I hope I don't get too sickipoo though. We'll see. I'm glad that I have six hour shifts next week, anyway. That'll help.
Not sure if I'm doing this right, but I assume the rules were to just say something about each person you have friended on LJ? Should I be evil like Fox, and not say who I'm saying what about, and let everyone guess? Hee. I think I just might. But if people beg enough, or guess correctly, I'm sure I'll cave. And it's not like I have 200 friends like Fox, so guessing shouldn't be too difficult. It'll be like a game!
Oh, and I'm just organizing the order same as Fox, alphabetically by description. It works.
#1. I adore you. You're cute enough to be wielded as a weapon. You remind me of all the things I liked about the best friend I had when I was 12--silly, fun, and amusing. But you're also smart, and I always enjoy talking to you. Plus, you know you're my bitching partner.
#2. I didn't know you at meta very well, when I first got my LJ, and I still don't know you all that well now. I don't agree with everything you say, but I give you props for being willing to say it, even when you know people are going to jump down your throat for it.
#3. I don't know you that well, either. Mainly because a lot of your posts have to do with a tv show I've never watched. Heh. Which is too bad. But I enjoy your rants! Update more on your personal life, so I can know you better, would ya? Because it's all about me! Heh.
#4. I don't know you that well, but you always seem like a sweet girl. Oh, and I do know that you're one of the few meta-ers who reads XF shipper fic, like me! Which means you rock. We need to discuss fic more.
#5. I first met you from an email you sent me, regarding a post of mine at meta. I imagine that, knowing you, you must've spent a good hour writing that email, writing and re-writing every sentence, and deliberating over whether you should even send it at all, and I'm so glad you did. What a lovely twist of fate it's been to gain you as a friend.
#6. I friended you, because you're a "real life" friend of, um, an online friend (I like how I'm trying to make this hard to guess, when it totally isn't. Hee). You remind me of a lot of the girls I went to High School with, and that's not a bad thing. You seem intelligent, and snarky. In a good way.
#7. I hate to say "sweet" again, but it's what you are. Just totally, totally sweet. We don't have the same religious beliefs necessarily, but I relate to you a lot of the time, and always think I could have some really good conversations with you.
#8. I know you're good friends with some of my friends, but you don't post in general meta/LJ enough for me to feel like I know you as well as I wish I did. But everything I know about you is good. Oh, and I've seen your pics, and you're lovely.
#9. I know you, because how could it be possible not to know you? Heh. I only started to know-know you though at meta, and chat, and then more so by reading your LJ. I always think you kind of dislike me (not vehemently or anything, but still), but I'm insecure like that. Another clue (as if it's needed, heh), when I read your LJ, I always think about how we're like polar opposites in our writing style. If you feel bad about something, you'll just say it. You get right to the point, without a lot of excess info. Whereas I describe every minute detail of anything that even remotely relates to it. Hee.
#10. I met you at meta, and have gotten to know you better through LJ and IM conversations. I'm glad I have. I love how you remember little things I've said, and keep in touch with me, even if you can't talk for long. And I know what you're thinking right now: "GO TO BED!"
#11. I really like you. You seem like the kind of girl who would put people at ease, in real life. Friendly, casual, and down to earth.
#12. I think you're awesome. I'm so happy that you're about to start a new job, especially since it sounds wonderful.
#13. I thought you were a guy, at first. Hee. That's your first clue. Hey, I didn't understand your name! I can't help that I'm a poor, deprived yank. You've always been right there with support, when someone is feeling bad, and I think you're a very sweet person.
#14. I thought you were funny and cool before I ever talked to you, one on one. I don't talk to you on IM or in chat nearly enough anymore; we talked more often for a while before, and I enjoyed it muchly. You're an amazing gal. Smart, witty, outgoing. I know if we were friends in person, you'd be one of those friends who makes me more outgoing and free feeling, just by being around you. And I wish I could make you see yourself the way I see you, since you are so far from "freakish", it's not even funny. You're gorgeous.
#15. I was surprised when you friended me, because I didn't think you liked me very much. You joke around so much, and have the ability to come across like an asshole (which is not to say I think you are one, mind you), but I always get the feeling that underneath it all, you care how people feel, and are a good kid. It's too bad I haven't been able to talk to you in chat more, so I could get to know you better. You always say your LJ entries are boring, but I don't think they are. You should update more.
#16. Many times now, when something happenned, or I said I was feeling insecure or what have you, I'd get an IM from you. I can't tell you how I appreciate that. You're kind and smart, and I admire you a great deal.
#17. My heart broke for the struggles you've gone through, recently. You have so much on your plate, and I admire you because you always seem to have a really good attitude about it. Don't be such a stranger, okay?
#18. You also amaze me by how together you are. Just totally chill. And just a completely great individual. I flove you.
#19. You're a great guy. I liked you from the very first post of yours that I read. You're just one of those guys that somehow never intimidated me (a good deal of guys do, for some reason), and I'm always happy when I see your name in chat.
#20. You're almost too perfect to believe. Like, issue-less and responsible, with your head square on your shoulders. Self assured in a way I deeply admire and envy. You're fabulous, darling. (hee, get it? Fabulous? Okay, I totally just gave it away)
#21. You're my online Mommy, and one of these days, I'm going to show up on your doorstep with a suitcase. Just you wait. Heh. I truly am glad to have met you, and always enjoy hearing what you have to say. Even if you are TOTALLY WRONG, in your stance on The X Files. Hee.
#22. You're my partner in Retail Hell. You so need to post work rants more often, so we can bitch and moan together. In fact, you need to post more often in general.
#23. You're one of the first people who made me feel comfortable in chat. And you've always been nice to me. Muah.
#24. You don't update enough, either, missy! Get on that. Hee. I know you at meta, and obviously LJ, but not very well. So, yes, let's change that.
#25. You should update with Epic Posts about yourself more, so I can get to know you better. (as with the rest of you, actually) I always forget you're older than me. That's not an insult. Hee. I guess I mean that you're one of those people I can talk to and like, without the age thing even coming into my awareness.

#15. I was surprised when you friended me, because I didn't think you liked me very much. I like you a lot. I friended you because I like your posts. We are very different, but honestly, I think we are very much the same. I do joke around so much, and I know that I can be an asshole, but sometimes it's my only way of dealing the incessant stress I feel in life. I regret most of what I say, because I do things on impulse and a lot of time, my impulses later turn out to be stupidity. I like you a lot, and given the opportunity, I would love to get to know you better. But never forget that I'm reading your journal!
Re:
Date: 2002-12-15 01:38 am (UTC)And, for the record, I think the fact that you care whether those foot-in-the-mouth moments hurt people, and are even aware of it at all, means you are far from an asshole. And I respect how you make the effort to talk with people who you've had tiffs with, like through IM or what have you; it says a lot about you, to me.
