Fucking AIM! Sorry for skipping out on you in the middle of a convo, fishy, but AIM randomly decided to die on me, and now won't reconnect. Why? No reason. Just hates me. I told you it was in cahoots with dosidella's computer! So evil!

I do, however, have that link for you. We do too have a summer!

Heh. To explain that to the rest of you, fishy has it in her head that Oregon doesn't have summers. So I told her I'd provide her a link, giving her some edumacation.

At least before, I had fishy to entertain me. Stupid, evil computer. Of course there are things I could do, but I don't really want to. Sigh. Oh, and fishy, that Wanda Sykes show isn't on tomorrow. It's on next Friday. Just a heads up, since you ARE going to watch it. Hee.

I really need to get my hair down next week. But I think the days my stylist is available are the days I work. Hmm. I suppose I could work around that, though. But we'll see. I told fishy I'd consider taking before and after pics of me. Before/after getting hair done, and also before/after straightening, to prove to her that wavy is not the way to go for me. Heh. I need to get film, though, in order to do that. I've been saying I'd take pics of my house forever and a day, for dosi, too. Because she's stalking me. Hee.

I wish I had a webcam. I think I'm going to ask for one, for my birthday. I really want to do mood icons, like dosi has. That was my idea to begin with, I'll have you all know! So, I'm not a copycat if I do the same thing! Heh. Like it even matters, but shh. (and no, I didn't get the "shh" thing from her. . .or anything. . .*whistles*)

You know, I just remembered something else from my dream last night. Poppy was sitting in my backyard. He was a ghost, but I could hug him. I've had quite a few dreams like that, now. My sister thinks it's him saying "hi", like, from beyond the grave or whatever. Yeah, I don't know about that, but it's a nice thought. It's nice "seeing" him again, even if it isn't real. Kind of bittersweet though. Makes me a little sad, thinking about it.

Nah, that's an average. Really, 81 is low for us in the summer. I mean, usually it's more like 90. At least in August, definitely. The averages on those types of things always seem to be off.

Oh, please. You are SUCH a copycat. Copycat!

Maybe YOU should try downloading trillian. Yeah, think about that.

Um, I can't reply to e-mails. *kicks computer* (Which reminds me- I got your card. Sha, it was a reminder because you kicked my computer in the card, okay? Lovely; thank you.) And, you know, Megan's welcome to stay here if she doesn't mind messiness. You tell her that. Or, um, I will. Whatever.

Okay, I feel drunk. But I'm not. Hmm.

Ugh. I wish we had your "low" rainfall. I don't think we even made it to 400mm last year, which'd be well under two feet. I hate having no rain! I want to go outside and jump in puddles, but there AREN'T ANY! (That may have something to do with the fact that it's the middle of summer, but still. I don't care. I want rain, damnit!)

Ahem.

Hee. I like how that page tried to make it seem like Portland isn't a rainy city, too. I mean, yeah, the stereotype is kind of an overgeneralization--for instance, we DO have a summer, God damn't (hee)--but they were all "Our yearly amount of rainful is less than Atlanta's!" Well, whoop-dee-doo, that doesn't mean it doesn't still rain every day for ten thousand days in a row every year. We may have less overall rain, but it's spread out for a long time. So, rather than a few weeks of intense rainfall, we have a couple months of sprinkles with the occasional downpour.

But anyway. Yes, if you want rain, move here! Then we can run models over in our scooters!
