rachg82So, what's up with Cheri O'Teri these days? Anyone know? I remember when she left SNL, people said she was going to do a sitcom or something. But she hasn't seemed to do anything. It's such a shame. She was so talented. I can see how she might've felt it was time to move on from SNL, but it suited her so well. I can't imagine what sitcom would allow her to act out so many characters, or be as funny. I wish she'd come back! That show needs her, man. Just ain't the same without her.
I'm watching a rerun of SNL on TV right now, if anyone's wondering what inspired this train of thought. Heh.
I can't believe they've never done a "best of Cheri O'Teri" special. They've done them for lots of the other cast members. She was the best of her cast, in my opinion. If they did one of those specials, even just for sale in stores, I'd totally buy it. I should see if they sell any kind of DVDs with clips of the Cheri O'Teri period, and put it on my Birthday list. So brilliant, I am!
